Engine Dynamometer

When an engine has been completely rebuilt, especially if the opportunity has been used to either modify or upgrade some or all of the components, it is quite certain that some, if not all of the settings, (fuelling, timing etc) will need re-calibrating. Although in most cases we have the vehicle, which we can set up on our rolling road once the new engine has been re-fitted, there are occasions when this cannot be done. For example if the engine has been shipped to us from abroad where it would not be practical or economically viable to ship the whole car, or if the vehicle has gone to one place for restoration while the engine has come to us. In these cases we run the engine in, on our “engine brake” or Engine Dyno prior to shipping it back to the customer.
